Aha! it's the holidays! After all the hard work, either for projects, competitions, or exams, it's time for break. Leaving for China soon, but I have yet to pack my things, and other relevant chores to be done before going China.

Meanwhile, is watching Sailor Moon on Youtube. Childish it may be, but it allows the young girl in me to be reborn!

had worked for 2 days (one on friday and saturday)

Friday:

1st day at work. it is a charity dinner for IFS (international finanacial services) with many angmohs. there is a boxing ring in the middle of the ballroom (where the guests will bet for the boxing competition+donate money for the people in need). after the dinner, my legs were damn tired!

frankly speaking, i do not like the angmohs very much because they just seems very proud.

Saturday:

2nd day at work. there are 2 wedding dinner happening at same time (they were just beside each other). the one i did is rather fun. during the cocktail party before the banquet, i was one of the 2 who carried the finger food around for the guests to eat. i managed to served 4 plates of finger food within 40++ minutes.

afterwhich, went into the banquet to serve the guests that are seated in already. i was very scared while pouring drinks initially, but the guests (mostly/almost all are chinese) were very kind.

and 1st course presentation! we entered from the main door, holding the food on our shoulder, with the music "Boom Boom Pow" (i think we look rather smart). after that we have 8 more dishes, and some requires us to serve to the guests individually. my hands were shaking and i was so scared that i will spill the food! but all were ok (though i did make some small mistakes)

a few more to go before school starts (i wonder if i would get to do it when school reopens?)

went to IBZ chalet. bused to Tampines, and took train to take shuttle bus to Aloha Loyang. the driver is so nice, he sent me to the chalet i went directly (normally they would just let us alight at the reception office). C;

went to E!hub with momo and charlene for lunch+games @ arcade. we found a basketball throwing machine that has 11 games to play. we played 3 games, then we realise that it belong to other people. so we left, and we played the one with 3 buttons (hit the buttons vigorously)

we tried 夹娃娃 and i am really lucky! i got a stitch with specs with just $1, and i gave it to charlene C: but no luck afterthat!

went back via Martin's car. stayed in the room then we played mahjong. afterwhich, BBQ! stayed till 10 (after some photo-taking) and bused home! tired day wor!

ok, i am here to blog due to a "really overwhelming" amount request by someone who tagged me on the tagboard.

the day before 1st SEPTEMBER:

went back to RS to visit teacher! OMG, i am so happy to see Juliana, we walked ard the sch, tried out standing board jump, try entering the new stadium(?) but it's locked. we tried to walked past Ms Tan's class (she is teaching 4/4 ppl physics) and say hi C:

we then went to her house, doing some Monkey business(!) before taking the train tgt (she go AMK, i go PYPS)

and i can conclude one thing: PYPS is very small. everyone can only stay in the canteen, and it is hot and stuffy. Only 4/40 ppl in 6B' 04 went back, and frankly speaking, i don't know the ppl there. i only sit somewhere and just walk ard like a zombie. and went home aft that. period.

1st SEPTEMBER:

supposed to go ECP with some caterpillars for cycling, but it rained, so stayed at home. actually, i suggested to go ION Orchard, but got things to do, so din went there (poor Juliana and Mun Pheng)

now rotting at home. probably will leave house ONLY for band :C

Band camp! back at about an hour or 2 ago. dragged my tired body to board the train & bus. now i am having painful shoulders now. Argggghh~~~

1st day: reached meeting place (sports complex) and divided in to groups. played lame (or idiotic) games, like Splat (splat~~~) and blob (catching, in other words), and some competition between groups. then had sectionals, and afterwhich is dirtier games. do you know how dirty it is? i mean physically dirty. playing with detergents, flour, and captain ball that uses something else as the ball (raw chicken, eggs, oranges, cabagges). this is what i call different from secondary schools and junior colleges.

by the way, we slept in school (blk 18) and us CL section girls slept together. we were like playing UNO whenever we had time.

continued..at night after shower, more sectionals and watch movie (horror movie: coming soon) before having our night walk in school. we are supposed to solve crimes by collecting clues. the day ends at 3+ am, and thank goodness that we are not waking up in the morning (another thing different from sec. sch and JC)

2nd day: supposed to report at 12 noon, but due to body clock, i woke up at 8 (incredible, huh?). i was so bored that i go to the library and use computer. before i entered the library, saw news on TV outside, saying that Michael Jackson died! OMG. anyway, went back to dorm later and wait for the others to wake up. 12 noon, had run-through for concert, and slacked..blah blah blah. had dinner and had practice till about 10 pm. slacked till the night. almost all clarinetists went to KAP for Mac, so i was like emo-ing (blowing bubbles), called my 最爱的　念臻 and slept.

3rd and last day: report for breakfast at 8am. had run-through again (but with Mr Tan, yesterday was with Azri). self-practiced, and UNO again. then is break camp and CL briefing/chatting. and lastly, back home now C:

IS RAINBOW A CURSE?

when i was going back home via train, a small rainbow landed on my hand, so i seized the opportunity to a photo of it(it's vey rare for to this to occur)

but after taking photo it, there is announcement from the captain. there is something wrong with the train! so angry, and i wonder if a rainbow symbolose something bad.
But i remember a concept learnt in Microeconomics: fallacy if association with causation (Mistake to assume that Event A caused Event B to happen).

Why cry?! if you all cry just because you don't get gold, thats useless. if that's the case, then you should be thinking of how to play better next time. Or if you cry because you din play well, that's even more useless. as long as you have did your best, that's enough. if you played your best and din get gold in the end, then you should be thinking about how to play better. well, sometimes it depends on the judges' preferences.

in the end, just remember that: all people had nothing but passion most. so if you had the passion for something(band) then you will be able to do(play) it to the best

12th Dec:band concert

i bought chewy junior for my CL mates and they were all drooling when they saw them :Q

had great fun though it was tiring (i am the photographer), but because many seniors had also helped out (siying as emcee, xingyi as emcee tutor) or present for concert so it is really a "concert for the spirit, mind and soul" (inside joke)

19th Dec: Fahrenheit's fantasy concert 2008

went to watch it with xiaoqi (she got tickets) and when we reached there, saw some fans wearing tees of fans club (i thought i can only see this on TV)

the concert has very good visual impact and i kinda like it

day 3 (5 Dec)

last day of CLASS CHALET & BAND CAMP

was still sleeping and i wake up at 3am in the morning. shocked to see that there are still others in the room sleeping (initially only me and yekai) the aircon is so cold and my teeth were also shivering...

ACTUALLY THESE WERE JUST SOMTHING MINOR..

after leaving chalet went back to band (wearing my big bird tee) and was 'welcomed' by the whole band warmly (when they saw me, they all screamed my name and makes me so emarrassed :$

i went there and i was just sleeping/dozing (i slept for only 3 hours+++ during chalet) and went to MacDonalds with juniors after break camp..

actually i feel quite good to be with people i like and they were those that make me happy C:

as i was saying, after cycling back from changi, went to take a nap and went to watch movie above @ EHub (Downtown East)

we watch the movie at 11am, and while waiting, we realise that no one else is inside, so this means that we are the only ones watching..HAHA (feel so great, dorothy even bring her legs high on the seats! ! !)

it was quite scary but i didn't shout, unlike the 2 of them (they know who they are) who don't even dare to watch and covered their eyes! ! ! haha

after that we went to eat lunch (actually is them, i not feeling well so i went back first)

when they reach the chalet, they all (except bryan) went to sleep and lidan and shujuan are leaving after the nap (via shujuan's father's car).

dorothy also left later with bryan and jeremy (leave me and yekai there)

at about 7pm plus, went to pool with mingyang and junbin (i don't want to watch shows going on) and i watched them performing water ballet (what a joke right). and thanks to mingyang my injury start to pain and they had to accompany me to apply medicine (the injury really come at the wrong time lor)

went back to chalet and watched "don't forget the lyrics!", "little nyonya"and "forensic hereos" before going to shower and sleep

day 2 (4 Dec)

second day of CLASS CHALET & BAND CAMP

went to beach trying to watch sunrise. while waiting, was supposed to accompany fushen to downtown Mac to buy breakfast (i don't know how to go) but instead went to watch sunrse with hangwee at other places via bike.

we cycled from the beach to many places (housing estates, industrial estates, etc) and we managed to find the PERFECT location C:

as you know, NO PAIN NO GAIN, on the way there i fell down and hurt my left elbow and knee (no picture to show, lol) but i think it's worth it (you see it later).

according to hangwee, the mighty sun rise at 7:10 am everyday and we have to race against time to catch it. i somehow pity him for cycling with someone not so good with cycling (me) who cause him to almost delay it (he badly wanted to watch it)..but we managed though :D

we are near Changi prison and we can see the driveway of Changi airport (we can see planes taking off)

the place we watched the sunrise (near changi prison)

the two of us..we made it! ! !

after that we rode back to Pasir Ris..i feel that i really gained alot

went back. bandaged my wound and had breakfast and take a quick nap before going to Down town to watch Quarantine with dorothy yekai lidan shujuan and bryan..

when at 6 pm, was "called" back for BBQ by mingyang. went to start fire with the guys and quite fun, because i got myself very black and dirty (by charcoal) and i also tried to make other people's faces dirty and i DID C:

time flies, we spent alot of time to start fire and BBQ begins. many things happen (otah burnt, fire too strong, etc), so we tried to cook in the kitchen using the utensils. it is so fun and i created

some ate it and think it's nice (sweet outside), but not quite cooked :'(

this is the failure of my cooking, though it is good overall.

after showing off my culinary skills, me the cook go eat food. and of course, my COLA flavoured chicken wings! ! !

after that, i played monkey with some guys, and watched "little nyonya" and "forensic heroes" on Channel 8 and U respectively. it's nice to be together with classmates :D

i also accompanied Mdm Sarojini to take the shuttle bus home with Shadrina

we went to beach to enjoy sea breeze and others went to Downtown east while i stayed because i lazy to move..

there is a sea port there (i think) and it's nice at night

was at home preparing to go band camp before going to chalet, and received a call from Siying, who ask me to bring things for her (! ! !)

because iam a nice person so i brought everything i got for her C:

i went there with a lot of things with me to RS annd because it is during peak hours (people going to work) and i am odd among all -.-

when reached there, shocked to know that yesterday is Ms Chen's birthday (2 Dec)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! ! !

as i was saying, because i am a nice person so i helped them(band EXco) to buy a cake to celebrate her birthday, but not my money (Siying's)

we went to CWP and bought a chocolate cake for her (well, hope she like it) and i accompanied siying back to school.

on the way back..

well, she want me to miss her *sigh

BACK TO THE TOPIC..i went back to meet Dorothy and Yekai to go Sheng Siong buy stuff

and we bought quite alot of food for own consumption. (also with the class com and other classmates)

after that we (the 3) went to eat lunch and went to Aloha Loyang via train and shuttle bus. Reach at about 1530 hr. Thanks to mingyang, we are able to go to our chalet

but when it went in for not more than 10 mins, she was chase out by a f***ing dinosaur which shouted "GET OUT" to the bird. saying after O level then can go..i sympatise the bird..it has to leave just lyk dat..it jus wan take a break and have fun..

how will you feel if the bird is you ?

for fear dat the pig(who also wan to visit the juniors) to suffer the same fate, bird try to contact pig but unable to so waited for her, so wanted to go home

but then..it saw the pig..so they both go shopping and throw tissue to vent anger(actually is for bird only, pig only accompany bird)

got back e prelims resuts le..i din fil but my eng..sigh..P1 passed but P2 FAILED! ! !
my beloved mother is nagging me abt my english results..say wat english fail cnt go JC or even poly..i oso noe but my english is horrendous..
den my physics..it is a C5..sad
my chemistry i dunno cox i dunno how to calculate but if i add e total up and convert it to 100% it is still ok( an A2)
my emath go tui bu man..get 85% only(dun think dat i m boasting) den amaths is still ok
my POA not bad..91% is ok bah and my HCL is abt an A..
most importantly..my humanities improved with 58%..thanks to siying :)

yesterday national day concert and parade is ok lah..the band performed in the parade..played 'Majulah Singapura', 'Pomp and circumstance' and 'Spring breeze'

well..in overall i think they played ok..cox i can hear my 3rd clarinets :D

but..there is always room for improvenment though(especially the national anthem)

then try to watch another movie "Laputa: castle in the sky", but too tired to watch..i keep yawning..and also hungry

Today the band is going for SIBF(singapore international band festival)..the 1st competition the band go w/t seniors.

During recess..went to Robotics Rm wif other sec 4s..didnt manage to talk to dem..but i buy golden coin choc to the clarinets..for good luck de..hope it works (^.^)

But then, I also felt quite proud and happy for you guys, like hey. You people've finally grown up. :DSure, there were some mistakes here and there, but it was quite good on the overall. *thumbs up*

after lesson went to RP lib wif MP and XQ..meet with SY ltr

at abt 7 plus smsed pecky for results..dey are going so proposed to wait 4 dem aft all this..

time passed..at abt 9 received smses by all..saying dat the band got bronze..expected to be unable to maintain silver but never mind..
